Drivers Hp Laserjet 1000 Series Para Windows 7 here. I saw one of these servers at Spiceworld in London and am interested in getting one. The HP guy I spoke at Spiceworld thought it was a NAS when I asked him the OS it supports, a little googling later and I know it can support 16Gb Ram, up to 16Tb of hardrives and Window 2012. I called the number on the HP UK site and was put through to a whole succession of people (ok only 3) who didn't know about it, the first was Laptops and desktops, the second was a support guy and the third was confused by the very prospect of the conversing with someone. No wonder they're in their 11th straight quarter of declining sales, they clearly don't want to sale anything! Basically I wanted to know whether I could get the server from them with additional hard drives and ram install and a Operating system already loaded.
I have a problem with installing Windows server 2012 R2 on HP Microserver Gen8 that I have been struggling for acouple of days. Windows Xp Pro Sp3 Hp Oem Downloads more. I searched over forum but I can't find the solution for this. I don't have CD slot so I use USB for boot iso.
Since my experience and despite their attempt to dicourage me from doing so, I'm thinking about buying one but will get it off Amazon or some other retailer and just buy Crucial memory for it. Does anyone use one, and is it any good for a small company. I plan to run a few VMs on it as part of my lab, being a network guy, I want to play with a VM doing AD, an exchange instance and a file and printer. Michael, I did mention about the RAM and that I had gone to their website in my post and that Itried to buy one, i'm in the UK so the US store is not going to work and I've done my research as to specs. Hp Smartstart Scripting Toolkit Windows Edition on this page. I have no interest in getting from HP anyway as their customer service clearly isn't good and I fear getting the wrong thing delivered! I'm really looking for user experience reviews, I'll get the memory from crucial and a SSD for the OS and a few 4 TB drives from Seagate. I just want to know are they any good.
