Ron, Thanks and it is a Windows XP professional. So this 'solution center' loading that says I need a network resource and I should browse for solutioncenter.msi has to do with my HP printer? O P Gauba Political Theory Pdf Printer. I was thinking that I accidentally got rid of something that was required to load up something major to run my lap top. I recently added a norton suite business version to my lap top and ran the first scan.
After the install cleanup is finished and the Windows installer is fixed, you need to reinstall the HP Printer driver software. Unplug the HP Printer and reboot before you do this so that Windows does not install any default drivers for the HP device.

A K Chakrabarti Circuit Theory Pdf Printer here. Right after that the first time I turned on the Dell lattitude with XP pro I got that Solution center bos popping up and also now when I try to connect to internet by opening utility and wireless options I don't even get an option to connect to. I also get a pop up box asking if I want to connet on broadband dial up or verizon wireless card?
So I thought this all had to do with the Solution center popping up. So now I find out that just has to do with an HP printer. So what is all this other stuff going on not allowing to connect to wireless options now?? Yikes I will start by uninstalling any HP printers. If need be I will use windows installer clean up utility (is that on my machine? Or do I downlaod that (because right now I cannot connect?????arghhhhh) Let me know from there what you think. You are a treasure to have answered this and if you can sort out what else I am seeing let me know!
If you google solutioncenter.msi, you find lots of things related to HP printers so I presume your error message relates to an HP printer issue. Assuming you actually installed an HP printer on this laptop, when that box pops up, look for a 'browse' option and point it at the HP installation CD which should be in your optical drive. Be sure to unplug the printer before launching solutioncenter.msi and only connect it when the installer tells you to connect it. Since you just installed Norton and ran a scan, it's possible Norton removed important files related to an HP printer and caused all your other problems too. I don't use Norton, but look for an 'undo' option to reverse changes it made to your system and that might also fix these problems. Hp Officejet 6200 Windows Xp Driver here.
If that doesn't help, you might want to manually set a System Restore point and then use System Restore to go back to last restore point date available before you installed Norton. That will uninstall Norton and hopefully restore files it deleted. You will have to download windows installer cleanup utilitiy (free) from the microsoft link in my previous post but you may not want to use it unless all else fails. Glad you were able to fix the solutioncenter.msi problem.
Now you seem to have a problem with cr-tools.clients.google.com. It sure sounds like Norton did some bad things to your system. Have you looked for an 'undo' option which might reverse the damage Norton seems to have done? Cr-tools.clients.google.com is for Google's Chrome browser. Do you use or did you ever use Chrome? If you don't use it, you need to change the system's default browser to whatever browser you do use now. Do you use 'NationalAccess - BroadbandAccess' now? If that's what you're using, remove the Verizon Wireless card - VZAccess and all its software.
