They are for the 64 bit OS. Installer Canon Pixma Ip1000 Ubuntu Server. I'm guessing you need the 32 bit drivers?

Hi Chat, Just visited the site and it seems to work no prob for me, try this link then select hp beta x64 drivers. Not a lot of point really if you are only running the x86 os. Another thing to try is turning off driver enforcement, A little prog that allows you to permanently do this. Download the lates Xp drivers from the website and then install then in XP compatability mode.
