Hi fellas, old thread but ill dig it ot as i struggled to get a CSR Bluetooth dongle to work. I tried the tips on this topic here but had no USB dongle on the list to install new drivers.Instead my Bluetooht dongle was listet under Bluetooth items.Problem was it wasnt workig no more on win7 after updates. I clicked on it and reinstalled drivers->select search drivers on PC and add it as a 'bluetooth radio' worked for me. I knew this was the right choice as it was listed like this before the windows updates (2 items actally under bluetooh->Generic Bluetooth radio,Microsoft Bluetooth List) something like that. That basically fixed the issue. Hi, I'll try to help you. My successful CSR BT install was on a desktop without an inbuilt BT receiver - if you have eg.
Generic Bluetooth Radio - Driver Download Updating your drivers with Driver Alert can help your computer in a number of ways. From adding new functionality and improving performance. This video I am showing How To Get Intel Bluetooth Driver For Windows 10/8/7 Laptop/Pc and how can you download and install Intel Bluetooth driver software on your desktop or laptop with 32 bit.
A laptop with an inbuilt BT adapter I can't help you. Remove all BT radios and drivers via device manager 3. Install the CSR BT drivers - my adapter came with a driver CD 4. Check in device manager that the CSR BT radio is installed AND there are no other BT radios OR BT drivers 6. Double click the BT icon, search for your headphones, when found pair and you should be good to go. If there are errors installing the CSR drivers / device enumerators - I suggest you get another BT adapter eg, ASUS, kill the CSR radio / drivers in device driver and enjoy a trouble free life. CSR's BT adapters are great if you can install them (they support APTX headphones for astonishing audio), if you can't it's better to cut your losses quickly and move on.
Hi, first up I recommend that you think through what you are trying to do. If you want to use APTX (if you have APTX compliant headphones) you will have to use a CSR based BT adapter. Else you are just trying to use a BT adapter. You need to seriously consider how much hassle you are willing to put up with for a BT adapter which new, with BT 4.0 and software, costs USD4 delivered from EBay.
There are other CSR BT 4.0 adapters which claim that they are plug and play If you are really stubborn you can search EBay for BT dongles and select one which has a download link eg. - this should download the CSR Harmony installation software. You would not believe the forums I've searched through to fix the problem with my CSR 8510 A10 dongle for bluetooth.
Tried so many things wanted to shoot myself. Always said license expired download newer version I would choose yes but never worked.
While I was trying to remove and reinstall for the 100th time I happen to notice the driver said Realtek. Only Realtek I knew of was under network adapters. I opened the tree under network adapters in device manager right clicked realtek and choose to update drivers just for the heck of it. Then I chose scan for hardware changes and BAM. CSR installed and started working. I did remove CSR in Device Manager under bluetooth first.
Checked the box to remove all software if I remember right that was the options. Hp Software Updates Downloads. Kept dongle in the whole time. Epson Stylus Pro 9600 Driver Windows 7 Antonio Jose Sonata Pdf Printer. on this page. So it's your network adapter that lets this work properly. To get to device manager go to start and type device manager.
